The Show
Be
center stage as a ceremonial procession meanders
by the Waterfront at SeaWorld Park. Blowing a conch
shell, natives herald the arrival of the tribal
chief, "the Grand Kahuna." Inspired by a royal
welcome, guests are then ushered to their
seats for a captivating performance.
Within
the spacious theater, guests wait for the Grand
Kahuna to opens the Broadway-style show. Non-stop
high-energy sounds of percussion fill the atmosphere
as bare-chested men accompany exotically dressed
women in lavishly colorful attire.
Immerse
yourself in the ancient customs, folklore and rhythm
of the islands featuring native dancers from Tahiti,
Figi, the Marquesas, and Hawaii.
Seated
family-style, guests will enjoy a breathtaking choreography
featuring lissome female dancers on stage. As story-telling
begins, the Grand Kahuna recounts the Hawaiian myths
surrounding Sky Father and Earth Mother's
role on the earth.
The storyline climaxes
with an incendiary fire-dance-finale like none other
featuring a dancer dressed in a loincloth twirling
a flaming baton that he rests both on his tongue
and the soles of his feet.
