Typhoon Lagoon
|
|
Typhoon Lagoon is one of the two
Disney water parks. Disney’s setting behind
Typhoon Lagoon
is based on the aftermath of the “storm-of-storms”
where surf boards were thrown into trees, ships
were impaled and scattered about the island, and
more. Like Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park you
are highly advised to invest in a locker to keep
your personal belongings safe and dry. Typhoon Lagoon
consists of 9 waterslides which vary from not so
daring to a nearly vertical slope, a shark reef
where you can snorkel with live sharks, a children’s
play area, and a surf pool with swells that can
reach up to 6 ft. Typhoon Lagoon also has many quick
service dining options
as well as a pool side bar and two picnic areas.
Typhoon Lagoon makes a great place to have overall
no matter what you decide to do or who you come
with.
